Precision for Small-Diameter Machining with the Cincom L12-VII CNC Sliding Head — Now with 7-Axis Control
The Cincom L12 CNC Sliding Head delivers precision machining for small parts with outstanding flexibility, performance and efficiency. It features standard switching between Guide Bush Mode (up to 15,000 min⁻¹) and Non-Guide Bush Mode (up to 12,000 min⁻¹) ideal for both long and short workpieces.
Guide Bush Mode is perfect for long, slender components, while Guide Bush Less Mode reduces remnant length, reducing material waste and cutting costs. This dual-mode capability eliminates the need for separate machines based on part length.
The static 4-position sleeve holder further boosts productivity by supporting multiple tool setups, reducing changeovers, and maximizing output.
Equipped with LFV technology, the L12 improves chip control, surface finish, and tool life, especially on difficult materials.
Support for up to 16mm diameter bar (via expansion kit), the L12 delivers increased versatility in a compact footprint.
Advanced Performance with the Cincom L12-X CNC Sliding Head — Now with Modular Tooling and Y2 Axis Control
The Cincom L12 Type X takes productivity even further, equipping both the gang and back tool posts with a modular tooling system for maximum versatility. This allows for flexible setups such as an adjustable angle end-face spindle, perfect for angled hole drilling and complex machining requirements.
The addition of a Y2 axis enhances back machining performance, increasing freedom in process allocation and supporting up to 38 tools overall for greater efficiency.
A high-speed 12,000 min⁻¹ back spindle with built-in motor shortens acceleration/deceleration time, improving throughput without sacrificing precision.
