The ABX51/64/80SYY CNC Fixed Head is a powerful fixed head lathe from Citizen’s Miyano line up. Designed for high-volume, high-precision work, it features two spindles, twin Y axes, and upper/lower 12-station turrets. This layout enables fast, simultaneous machining on the front and back of complex parts.
With both turrets equipped with Y-axis capability, the ABX excels at 2-tool simultaneous machining. Its structure ensures excellent rigidity and stability, ideal for heavy-duty work and tight tolerances.
The front spindle is available in 51 mm, 64 mm, or 80 mm bar capacity configurations, giving you flexibility for a wider range of components. Built-in spindle motors shorten acceleration times and help reduce cycle time.
Citizen has also enhanced usability. A large viewing window and redesigned machine cover improve visibility and access. The Fanuc HMI control system simplifies operation and shortens setup time. It also provides consistent functionality across other models in the Miyano ranges.
