The ABX64/80THY CNC Fixed Head is Citizen Miyano’s flagship fixed head lathe, engineered for high-precision, high-output production across demanding sectors. Two spindles and three 12-station turrets, each equipped with a Y-axis, the THY model delivers unmatched process flexibility and productivity.
Both upper turrets feature Y-axis capability, while the lower turret, also with a Y axis, can freely approach either spindle. Allowing ideal process allocation and balanced tooling without machining constraints. Enabling true 3-tool simultaneous cutting and superimposed machining across front and back spindles.
The machine is available with, 64 mm, or 80 mm bar capacity on the main spindle, and features built-in spindle motors to reduce acceleration times and improve overall cycle efficiency. High rigidity, precision scraping, and thermal stability are at the core of the machine’s structure, delivering exceptional performance even under heavy cutting conditions.
Operator enhanced usability. A redesigned machine cover includes a large viewing window for better visibility and easier access. The advanced Fanuc control streamlines setup, supports intuitive programming, and ensures consistency across Citizen’s Miyano ranges.
